Operation Guidelines 

• During startup, slowly raise the feed pressure over a period of 30 to 60 seconds.
• Achieve the cross-flow velocity at the set operating point within 15 to 20 seconds.
• After starting up, throw away the permeate from the first hour.
• To prevent the membrane from becoming damaged, do not suddenly change the pressure or cross-flow.
• After initial wetting, keep the parts moist at all times.
• To stop biological growth during long shutdowns, soak membranes in a preservative solution.
